With is a new extensive database of 4,000+ malicious and ad-based plug-ins and toolbars, and its powerful capabilities of getting rid of all the most stubborn programs, IObit Uninstaller is probably the most comprehensive uninstalling tool available today. Besides, this new version is capable of dealing with the new Windows 10 apps and Windows updates.

Following the design of previous versions, IObit Uninstaller opens in an intuitive and elegant interface, now with larger fonts to improve the user’s experience.
The menu on the left-hand side of the main window offers specific entries for programs on one side and toolbars and plug-ins on the other. A third option (Action Center) is a classic in all IObit apps and refers to other utilities that can be downloaded and installed from here if desired. You can check the list of all the programs installed on your system or only those that you installed recently, the larger ones, those you don’t use very frequently, Windows 8 and 10 apps (if you happen to be using any of those) or the Windows updates.

Uninstalling a program fully with IObit Uninstaller involves two processes. The first one performs a standard uninstall of the program selected, regardless of how stubbornly it refuses to be removed. The second one is optional, and I couldn’t recommend it more to all potential users. It’s called Powerful Scan, and it performs a deep search in your Windows registry and in the directories used by the program searching for all possible leftovers. You will be presented with a list of all these leftovers and with the possibility of deleting them for good, a practice that I cannot but recommend to all users. You won’t find anything like Powerful Scan in most other uninstallers, and it is certainly the program’s main asset.

The process to get rid of unwanted toolbars and plug-ins (malicious or not) is very similar, though no Powerful Scan is involved here. Under the Toolbars & Plug-ins option on the menu, you will find as many entries as browsers you have installed on your PC. The program supports all the most widely used browsers in the market.

IObit Uninstaller has – once again – excelled itself. This new version adds new options for the new Windows versions available and has enlarged its already extensive database to include thousands of malicious and ad-based plug-ins.

  • Powerful Scan to get rid of all leftovers.
  • Uninstalls all programs, plug-ins, and toolbars.
  • Specific menu items for specific browsers.
  • Extensive database of stubborn programs.
  • Easy-to-use and intuitive interface.

  • No drawbacks found during the review.

IObit Uninstaller is easily the best Windows uninstall utility I've come across. Browser toolbar and plug-in removal and well-designed interface make it a winner.

IObit Uninstaller is a wonderful program that lets you make sure that anything you delete is completely cleaned from your computer system. It's easy to use for those who are computer savvy, as well as for those a little less experienced.
It's a great way to keep your computer in the tip-top condition, it requires you to do some work, but also be in control.

I think, IObit stands on 2nd rank. First is Revo; because of its shell context menu & scanning leftovers of previously removed programs.

To a degree I agree but I really like that even in the free version you can batch uninstall apps, I think this option is available in the paid for version, and fair enough.
