How to recover files deleted from IObit Uninstaller?

A
Answer by Alex Urbach

You need to use a file recovery application that has been exclusively developed for such operations and luckily, there are plenty to choose from. For example, Recuva is one application that is free and has good accuracy when you want to retrieve something that has been deleted.

Access the following page to download it and then use the built-in Wizard to configure the scanning procedure. For improved accuracy, but with more time scanning, choose Deep Scan and also provide the installation directory of the files you want to recover.

iObit Uninstaller is a software removal tool that can be used instead of Windows's built-in feature Add/Remove Programs. It basically has the same function but it can also scan your system for remnants, hunting for both leftover files and registry keys. You can then review and remove them as you wish. It also comes with a browser plugin removal tool, but it is not so efficient as it doesn't show what plugins are installed in what browser. For more information and latest version download you should access iObit Uninstaller's website.
