IOBit Uninstaller is intended to remove those programs you no longer want or need. In this respect, it is a substitute for the system’s built-in uninstaller but it includes many more features. The program has a very nice interface that makes it easy to use by even beginners.
One of the top features of this product is that it allows uninstalling software batches in a single operation. Likewise, it is good that it can scan for leftovers of your uninstallations, which saves disk space, protects your privacy and improves system performance. Moreover, the installed programs are organized according to their frequency of use to help you make better decisions as to which software to keep or remove. Luckily, not only standard programs but also Windows updates can be uninstalled.
If you have any files or folders you would like to erase for good, you may be interested in using the program’s built-in shredder. Another appreciated feature of the program is that it can scan your browsers and detect malicious toolbars and plugins. Also, if you are not sure which toolbars should be removed, you can consult the ratings provided by other users worldwide. Regrettably, I could not find a way to monitor software installation, which is a more accurate way to reverse all the changes done by a given program.
In general, IOBit Uninstaller is my favorite product of this type. Fortunately, the program can be used for free. Yet, if you want to have access to other more advanced features, such as bundleware uninstalling and automatic software updates, you should purchase its Pro version.
